Our Story

About Medusa

A hidden fine dining room in Poros, above the waterfront, where Mediterranean elegance and thoughtful service shape the evening.

Editorial portrait of the Medusa dining room
"She did not turn them to stone. She made them stop. Look. Stay."

In the old myth Medusa was framed as a warning. We prefer another reading: the force that interrupts the ordinary because something extraordinary has entered the room. The name is not there for drama. It is there to describe the feeling of arriving somewhere that quietly rearranges your attention.

Our dining room sits above the Poros waterfront with no theatrical entrance and no need for one. Stone floors, low light, crystal reflections and a view across the harbour do the work. The room is intimate, precise and calm, built to hold conversation as comfortably as it holds ceremony.

The food follows the same principle. Mediterranean in soul, exact in execution, never crowded with unnecessary gestures. The cellar grew over time around a simple question: what belongs on this table? Greek varietals lead because they speak most clearly here, and the bottles remain visible around the room as part of the atmosphere rather than hidden away.

Three Pillars

The table, the cellar, the room

The Table

Seasonal. Balanced. Uncompromising. Everything on the plate is there because it belongs.

The Cellar

200 plus labels. Greek first. World class always. A list built bottle by bottle, not by trend.

The Space

Hidden. Second floor. Worth finding. A room that feels discovered rather than promoted.

Interior

An editorial room, not a backdrop

Getting Here

Take the staircase beside the old pharmacy. The chandeliers confirm you are in the right place.

Call in advance if you are planning a long evening. The room fills quietly and early.
